The Country Music Icon Lent His Talents To A Star-Filled Tribute To The Slain Rock & Roll Icon.
Decades after rock legend John Lennon spoke of creating a better world, his words still resonate with the public, and many of today's hottest performers name him as a major influence.
In early December, scores of musicians honored the late singer-songwriter at a tribute concert in honor of what would have been his 75th birthday.
Willie Nelson performed Lennon's hit “Imagine,” and performers including Eric Church, Chris Stapleton, Sheryl Crow, Peter Frampton, Kris Kristofferson, Pat Monahan, Tom Morello, the Roots, and Steven Tyler also participated in the concert at Central Park’s Strawberry Fields.
