The response to Milton Patton's performance of Brad Paisley's “Whiskey Lullaby” caused him to well up with tears of joy. The judges had a lot to say.

21-year-old Milton Patton is an Arkansas-native that lived around a lot of drugs, violence, and gangs. At first, Patton wasn't a country fan and just thought it was a lot of “moping and sighing”, but then he really started to listen to it and realized that he could relate to the music.

Patton's rendition was absolutely stunning and the audience thought so as well because they gave him a standing ovation. It's obvious Milton is a very humble man and is appreciative of this chance he was given to showcase his talent. He was even called “a diamond in the rough”.

Milton Patton hopes to capture the hearts of America by advancing to the live shows in the NYC Radio City Music hall and achieving another step closer to live the ultimate dream by winning the one million dollar prize, as well as a headline show in Las Vegas.
