On the way to the airport, Blake saw a fellow Oklahoma resident, Roho Hartman.  He had become stranded on one side of the road during a flash flood incident.  He felt helpless.  Hartman had no choice but to wait for rescue, from anyone able to retreat him out of this sudden, yet horrible situation.

Thankfully, Blake was vigilant enough to have noticed the man.  He was willingly able to pick Roho up and out of the flash flood.  He immediately then proceeded to the man's route home.

Roho Hartman's family must have been worried sick.  When he showed up at his doorstep, alongside Blake Shelton, they were giddy with relief.

‘Look who brought Justin’s brother-in-law home this evening!' stated [a close family member's] Facebook post. It shows Blake with the man he saved.

I'm so glad there are stories like this.  Unfortunately, so many people in many parts of the world ignore people in desperate need and carry on with their own lives.

The way to make the world a better place starts with you. I know it's cliche, but some people need to learn that helping others will come back to you in the most positive of ways.  You can change and even save a person's life.  This was a great example of how humans should treat other humans.
