  • Carrie Underwood’s Ambition For A New Album May Surprise You

Carrie Underwood has yet to announce her new album's title and release date.  This will be her first album since Blown Away in 2012.  There was even some questioning whether the song for Isaiah would even make it onto the album.  In her most recent interview with Taste of Country, she did have this to say:

[Underwood claims] she tried her best to stay away from a “cheesy Mommy moment.”  “I’d be very willing to put money that it will be on [the new album],” Underwood said.

She's sounding more and more convinced as the release date gets closer.  The interviewer then asked how motherhood was for Carrie.  She gets so giddy and loving when discussing the topic of her new child.  She said,

He’s just this gift and such a smiley baby. And so easy to be around.  I’m a grouch in the morning [when] I wake up. And [when] he wakes up, he’s just smiling at me. So he just makes my life better.

I'm sure Carrie Underwood will continually draw song lyrics from the inspiration that is Isaiah and her new life as a mother.  If anything, I believe her songwriting will take a deeper, more relatable and give a fresher perspective on a demographic that may not be as voiced as it should be: the mothers and guardians of the world.

Underwood would also phrase the songs in a way that others can see themselves relating to. Many Country artists like Reba McIntire, Thomas Rhett, Rascal Flatts and Little Big Town can manipulate the lyrics of their songs to where it can be written for many different types of love relationships.

    Now that's art.
