The amounts are staggering.  It is inconceivable to imagine this kind of wealth and difficult to not be envious of their riches.  For musicians, making these kind of lists must be like joining a secret society – pretty heady stuff!

But after so many Forbes lists that have Toby Keith at the very top of its highest-paid country celebrities, I thought it was interesting that Garth Brooks claimed the distinction for the latest 12-month tally.

In the most recent World’s Highest-Paid Celebrities list, Forbes has Brooks at No. 6 with his $90 million. That’s in large part to his comeback tour that he kicked off in September 2014. And Keith came in at roughly half that, with $53 million.

No. 14: Eagles ($73.5 million)
No. 47: Jason Aldean ($43.5 million)
No. 48: Luke Bryan ($42.5 million)
No. 49: Kenny Chesney ($42 million)
No. 58: Tim McGraw ($38 million)
No. 61: Florida Georgia Line ($36.5 million)
No. 78: Zac Brown Band ($32 million)

Looks like Garth made a strong comeback, no wonder he came out of retirement!
