When Alan Jackson heard he had a 5-year-old fan battling cancer, he made sure to meet the boy in person.

JoshuaJohn Waldrop is battling Stage 4 hepatoblastoma and Jackson sent a private jet so JoshuaJohn could come see him in Nashville, an amazing trip the fan will never forget.

“It was amazing the number of people who contacted me over one special boy. There's a lot of love out there.”

The trip to meet his idol included a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame and hearing his favorite songs “I'll Fly Away” and “Little Bitty” live, in person.
