As CMT notes, Ballerini's peers in the country music community quickly took note of her accomplishment. And they didn't hold back on doling out the praise!

After her debut single “Love Me Like You Mean It” went to No. 1, the country community reached out to congratulate the singer-and songwriter on her tremendous success.

“Congrats to Kelsea Ballerini on 1st number one!” Bentley tweeted. “Your next song ‘Dibs’ is money too. Don’t know you, but happy for ya!”

Ballerini just had to be over the moon to receive such praise and support from one of country’s biggest — and kindest– stars.

We like this story because it shows how close-knit the country music community is. In a field as competitive as entertainment, you might think there'd be envy and resentment when someone hits the top spot. Quite the contrary, however. In fact, country music artists seem to view a win for one as a win for all!
