  • Country Singer Jenn Bostic Had The Entire Crowd Spellbound At The Grand Ole Opry!

Bostic performed “Jealous of the Angels,” a song that reflects on her close relationship with her father and the profound sense of loss she experienced after he died. As Country Rebel reports, she told the audience the entire story:

Jenn prefaced her performance with a story about her childhood, and about the passing of her father. When she was 10-years-old she was in a tragic car accident that took her father. She said that he, “was the first person to ever encourage me to play music” and she has become who she is today thanks to him.  She began signing the song she wrote as tribute to her father, and could hardly contain her tears. The performance was heartbreaking, as Jenn struggled to get out each powerful word.

Wow! We don't remember the last time we saw a performance that had us in tears the way Bostic's did. Her song — and her tribute at the Opry — is undoubtedly something that will comfort people who have also lost loved ones. We commend her for opening up to her audience and sharing her heartbreaking experience with the entire world!
