The Young Country Singer Remains In Everyone's Thoughts & Prayers… They Already Know What Happened.
From the time singer Craig Strickland of the band Backroad Anthem went missing while on a hunting trip, his friends and family held out hope. This despite the days-long search, during which his friend Chase Morland, who accompanied him on the trip, was found dead.
The pair's boat capsized on Kaw Lake in Oklahoma during a winter storm, but Strickland's dog survived.
The entire country music community and the public rallied around the family, with almost 100 people attending a vigil at a Fayetteville, Arkansas church.
Even when things looked their bleakest, those closest to Strickland refused to give up hope.
