He has written fast-paced drinking songs.  He has penned the occasional “she left me” ballad.  Starting with “What Was I Thinkin” Bentley quickly became a household name.

But Riser is different than his previous albums…

With hits like “I Hold On” and “Drunk on a Plane,” the album offers a little something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a sad love song or a fun party tune.

But the album’s title track, “Riser,” is a little different.

It’s universal. It’s for all of us.

Country Weekly's Jon Freeman stated that Riser shows how Bentley has grown as an artist “incrementally, in a way that feels effortless and natural.”

Effortless and natural are certainly two words that described Bentley perfectly. He has shown he has the songwriting chops to stay in the game.
