I must admit, as a person who holds his father in the highest of regards, Eric's comments really hit home. If your anything like me I'm sure you are going to agree…

They say the apple doesn’t fall from the tree, and that seems to be the case with Eric Church, who credits his dad for bestowing him with some of his finer and most notable qualities.

“My dad is a great guy, honest guy, very call-it-like-he-sees-it, which is where I get a lot of that. No BS.”

That sort of attitude is one of the things fans love the most about Church.

“I’m gonna tell you how I feel — whether you like it or not,” he admits. “I’m that guy, I’m me.

I think it's pretty neat, and really special, that he is willing to credit his father in a positive manner, giving the man that raised him due credit.

Something tells me Eric's dad is one proud pappa. Given all of his sons accomplishments, how could he not be happy with his fatherhood results!
