It may come as a surprise to learn that Brooks and Yearwood are just now being inducted into Music City Hall of Fame.
Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood will be inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame in Nashville in September.
In addition to selling more than 12 million albums and earning multiple Grammy, CMA and ACM Awards, Yearwood has written three New York Times best-selling cookbooks, hosted six seasons of her Emmy Award-winning Food Network show, Trisha’s Southern Kitchen, and debuted a line of cookware, Trisha’s Precious Metals, as well as her own home furnishings line with Klaussner Home Furnishings, the Trisha Yearwood Home Collection.
Brooks is the top-selling solo artist in U.S. history with more than 136 million albums sold, according to the RIAA. He has won multiple Grammy, CMA and ACM Awards, been inducted into the International Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Country Music Hall of Fame.
It is a fitting tribute to the best of the best in country music!
