The handsome country singer says he was “shocked” when he learned of the rumors surrounding him and his alleged involvement with Miranda Lambert.

“It's just so weird getting pulled into something like that where it just wasn't true,” Young, 30, told “Entertainment Tonight” Wednesday when was he asked about the infidelity claims. “Man it sucks that I got put in this situation with two people who are my friends.”

Even though the “I’m Comin' Over” singer said he was “shocked” about the cheating allegations, Shelton laughed them off. “I was in touch with Blake all day that day,” Young said, in reference to the day the rumors started. “He was like, ‘Dude, sorry.' I was like, ‘I know man.' ”

In case you missed the joint statement issued by Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton regarding the announcement of their divorce just a month ago, here it is:
“This is not the future we envisioned. And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately. We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter.”

Unfortunately 2015 has been a HUGE year for celebrity divorces. We just hope that all the nasty rumors floating around in magazines and online will remain rumors.
