Tayla could have chosen any number of ways to honor her legendary grandmother, but what was so moving is that she did so by performing one of Loretta's biggest hits. As Country Rebel reports, Tayla wanted everyone to know just how special she thinks her grandmother is.
While performing at The Royal Room in Columbia City, Tayla and her bandmates made sure to honor the one who began it all, Loretta Lynn, or as Tayla would call her, Memaw! Tayla sang a breathtaking rendition of Loretta's 1970 chart-topping song, “Coal Miner's Daughter”.
We haven't seen a story this touching in quite a while. It's always nice to see children and grandchildren pay tribute to the influence their families had on them, and we're sure Loretta is proud that her granddaughter turned out not only talented but also devoted.
