Bryan and Bentley aren't just peers, they're also friends. As Bryan recently disclosed, this was one reason Bentley got the job.

“When we found ourselves searching for a new co-host, I didn’t have to look much further than my own circle of friends, so Dierks was a natural choice,” Bryan said in a press release to follow up the videos he and Bentley shared Tuesday (Dec. 15) on social media. “We have a lot of fun together and I know the fans will be in for something special.”

Bentley also chimed in, noting that the pair have so much fun backstage, they're bound to have a blast as co-hosts. We don't know about you, but we can't think of a better duo to host the ACM awards, or a better performer than Bentley to take over for Shelton. It's bound to be one hell of a show!
