There are many who have attempted to give a great performance of the United States national anthem and there are many who have accomplished this. However, not so many have done it quite as well as Luke Bryan.

Flanked on both sides by fellow patriots waving the American flag, Bryan gave a beautiful, solemn performance with just enough flair to be passionate, but not so much that it took away from the moment. Though he struggled a bit with the famed high note, he cleared his throat and tried one more time with a smile before ending the song to thunderous applause honoring the country.

Bryan was named one of Forbes’ Celebrity 100 this year, making him one of the top-earning celebrities — not to mention country artists — in the world.
