Politics and nonsense often go hand-in-hand. Politicians are humans, yes, but being in the spotlight should indicate words become more carefully chosen. Sadly, in most instances, that is not the case.
So take one mayoral race, add in a slew of candidates, sprinkle with political gaffes and you end up with a number of people shaking their heads in disbelief. In the race to become Music City's next mayor, there are seven candidates. Bill Freeman, by far, seems to be the popular choice, if you judge that by exposure alone.
However, being naive and dancing around tough questions is what politicians do best and when asked about a shooting that riveted the Nation Bill may be loosing his spotlight. His popularity and exposure have morphed into negative territory.
