As Country Rebel notes, some people may remember McCready primarily for the personal struggles she endured in the last few years of her life. However, she also shared some remarkable music with the world.
In the course of her 18 year career, Mindy McCready left a permanent mark on the history of country music. Sadly, McCready's death in 2013 at the age of 37 meant that the world would no longer get the chance to hear any new music from the beautiful country singer. McCready charted a total of 12 singles on the Billboard country singles chart and her debut album, Ten Thousand Angels, was certified double platinum by the RIAA. Unfortunately, in the last few years of her career McCready became more well-known for her troubled personal life. Today, we chose to remember McCready for the talented singer she was, which is why we're choosing to pay tribute to her with three of her biggest hits.
