Miranda Lambert Spills About Her Divorce From Blake Shelton

Lambert told Cosmo her marriage to Shelton was “a great relationship with an amazing man,” and said that because of that she “knows what good is.” She also told the magazine that the couple tried the best they could to make it work.

“Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try,” she tells the magazine.
The artist also shared a healthy perspective on what it’s like moving on and just trying to live a full life: “Some of that might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going, ‘Man, this sucks right now.'”
Underneath the heartbreak, Lambert still has positive things to say about Shelton, who recently began dating The Voice co-star Gwen Stefani. Though Lambert says she’s not quite ready to jump back into the dating pool just yet, she’ll know what she’s looking for.

Like everyone else, we were saddened to hear that Lambert and Shelton were breaking up. However, we're happy to see that Lambert has retained her positive spirit and zest for life. From her interview it's clear that she's not fretting over the past and is instead looking forward to the future — a future that includes hitting the road for Kenny Chesney's “Spread the Love” tour next year!
