However, her family struggles have also made her realize both how precious and how frustrating life can sometimes be.
That's because her daughter Mia has a cleft palate and has endured multiple surgeries that required significant recovery time and hindered her ability to just be a kid.
Not one to let that get her down, however, Mia soon took to devoting herself to becoming a Lego master, something she accomplished with a few setbacks along the way.
As her mom noted, Mia was beginning to get frustrated with a specific project, but after taking a break to play with her cousin, returned to it with renewed enthusiasm and achieved her goal.
