The country superstar canceled last night’s show in Manchester, N.H., as well as tonight’s Albany show in N.Y., due to an illness. The performances will not be rescheduled.
Shania Twain’s Rock This Country tour dates at the Verizon Wireless Arena on October 6th in Manchester, NH and the Times Union Center on October 7th in Albany, NY have been canceled due to illness. Shania Twain’s doctors have advised her to rest for several days after she was diagnosed with a respiratory infection.
According Her Her Website Shaina Is Really Distraught Over The Canceled Tour But Knows That In Order To Get Better She Needs To Rest Up.

I have followed Shania from day one on everything she has done. I was lucky enough to see her on this tour before it got cancelled. Yes, Shania is the only one that knows what’s best for her but I do not believe that she will not try and find a way to make up for this to all of her dedicated fans. Shania is not that type of person! I will be keeping up with everything about her and I will say this, “Shania, if you read this, I know you will find a way to make up for this unfortunate illness that has made you cancel your shows.” I am very, very sorry you are sick, I have had this myself and I know it is worse for you. Please get better, that’s what matters the most. Take care of yourself and even after your tour, always take care. I hope that you will be making more music. Your concert was the best I’ve ever seen, You took my breath away with how amazing you were and my husband and I even got to hear you sing the song that gave us the courage to make our marriage what it is today. Thank you for being one of the most wonderful people in the world. I was just sad I didn’t get to see your horse lol, they’re my favorite animal.
