It's obvious from the performance that Taylor's thrilled to be performing with one of her idols. If there was any doubt, however, the caption of a photo she posted on Instagram tells the whole story, as Radio.com reports.

After the show, Swift expressed how she’s been waiting her entire life to hit the stage with Bentley.

“Thank you @dierksbentley for singing ‘Every Mile A Memory’ tonight in KC!! You’ve always been so nice to me, and I’ve always wanted to share a stage with you. So much fun!”

Bentley was clearly equally excited about performing with Swift, even saying on Instagram that he brought out his lucky boots just for the performance — even though he'd retired them! He also said it was a killer show, which we're sure made Swift's day. We love it when country music stars don't hesitate to express their admiration for each other!
