Kellen Seitz is determined to put Muskogee Civic Center on the map!
With a population of just over 39,000, Muskogee, Oklahoma, seems an unlikely place for a venue the size of the Muskogee Civic Center. Over 8,500 square foot of meeting space, not to mention an additional 8,568 square feet arena space.
It can seat over 3,700 for live shows and has hosted stars like Carrie Underwood, Toby Keith, Brooks and Dunn and Miranda Lambert, among others.
It is an intimate space for concerts – giving the audience a great seat from every viewpoint. Now it is the venue for three up-and-coming country artists, and the general manager, Kellen Seitz, couldn't be happier about the event. He took over the position in June, 2015 but that's not to say he's a novice.
Seitz was the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico and the Director of Marketing for SpiritBank Event Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Not bad for a former middle school basketball coach!
