The following are some direct quotes from Country music singers and performers commenting on what the CMA Music Festival means to them and how they see it as a sign of gratitude and a symbolic thank you to their truest of fans.
Florida Georgia's Jason Aldean Mentions:
For me it means getting a chance to be here in town, a way to say thank you to the fans and get up close and personal with them. In a lot of cases, it’s a chance to say hi, shake a couple of hands and sign a hat or whatever they have, a picture with them. The fans have given me a pretty great life. So, for me, it’s a time to give back and show my appreciation for that.
Florida Georgia Line puts in time to honor guests. No matter how small or large the crowds get, from sold out stadiums to intimate club parties fans across the United States, Bryan Kelley and Tyler Hubbard spend the time. They want to get the message across that they appreciate their loyalty.
Bryan Kelley Said This About Being On Tour:
We spent two hours with the fans signing and we went to another little signing thing [after that]. It’s cool to see people come from all over, to hear the stories on how they’ve connected to our music, how it’s touching everybody’s lives and to see other artists.
We’ve already had a big year, but we’re fixin’ to get into … the meat of our touring with stadiums. A lot of times, we go to these cities and we’re like in there, out of there and we didn’t get to see the cities. So the fact that I’ve got multiple nights in a lot of these places helps me kind of take in the area.
In fact, ask almost any country artist what the festival is really about and they’ll quickly answer that it’s showing their appreciation to fans in a huge way. These artists are genuinely interested in any opportunity where they are able to connect with their very own fans.
