With all the junk that is on T.V. These days it's about damn time that we got one that was more suitable for everyone to watch instead of showing the unobtainable lifestyle of the rich and famous.
Fox is finally making over The Urban Cowboy and casting some of the hottest actors in town including the very, incredibly sexy John Travolta and Debra Winger.
The filming has already began and is being set in Austin, Texas which means that it's going to be true Country. Originally the pilot was done in Huston, Texas.
The series is supposed to be a remake of the Urban Cowboy… but there is a special twist that is in the works.
Finally Fox is getting things right and making Television more family friendly…. unlike the rest of the useless propaganda they put out.

Some movies should not be redone by anyone, no matter how young and hot the new actors would be. They should haven’t tried remaking Footloose or the stupid Dirty Dancing Havana nights. Urban cowboy and Officer and a Gentleman should not be messed with!!!

A tv show? Seriously? This movie is perfect as a movie. I will watch it out if curiosity but no one could ever play Bud Davis like John Travolta and Sissy like Debra Winger.

Wait……….there is Abuse to Women,cussing,drinking etc in this movie and they are going to make this into a Television Show? I can think of other John Travolta movies that would better fit for TV like Grease but you rather show shows like this.I have watched about ALL of his shows and I like him but I think you all can do better than this.
