
Rolling Stone magazine reviewed the album and noted its “soul-baring lyrics and traditional country phrasing.” Farr had previously stated that his music was intended specifically for people familiar with the country music way of life.
“I write country music for country music fans,” he told Radio.com in 2013. “I write about the country lifestyle and what I know about. I don’t know if I’ll ever completely figure out women. Actually, I know I won’t. I may have figured out whiskey.”
We're sure a lot of listeners agree with his statement! Farr's music is clearly in the vein of good old-fashioned country music, with his messages echoing the sentiments of many of country music icon predecessors. We have no doubt his latest album will be a big hit with his loyal fans!
