As Taste of Country reports, Henley's performance showed the audience a side to the performer and his songs they might not have seen before. And he made sure the show was one they'd remember!

The show was truly meaningful — the music icon explained the inspiration and stories behind many of the songs he played. Behind Henley was a 17-piece-band that helped him get the sound he truly wanted during songs like “Words Can Break Your Heart,” “That Old Flame,” “I Put a Spell on You” and “‘Tis the Season.”

We're big fans of Don Henley and think it's great to see him working — and trying new musical styles — four decades after he hit it big. We have no doubt that his unrivaled talent will make his foray into country as groundbreaking as his rock and roll legacy!
