Not only is Gilbert a small-town boy, but apparently he's a big softie, too!  If he caters to his future children the way he caters to his pets, Cochran will be the one running the show!

Though Brantley Gilbert is still recovering from his honeymoon after tying the knot on June 28, children are already becoming a topic of discussion, and his wife Amber says the singer will be a total softie when that day comes, based on how he treats his dog.

Gilbert may look tough, but it turns out he’s a bit of a pushover when it comes to his pitbull. “Well, the way I treat Sylo like I love my dog, right, and he can’t do a whole lot wrong,” the star admits. “Like, if he does, he does somethin’ and he’s a pitbull but he’s cute as hell, I don’t know how that works. He’s just awesome.”

If the way he regards his pup is any indication, Gilbert says his wife predicts he’ll be even more malleable when they have kids.

Looks like Amber Cochran will have to keep him in line AND be the disciplinarian!
