Swift began writing lyrics when she was just a kid, and her former family home in Pennsylvania was the birthplace of some of her most memorable hits. When the family sold the home in 2004 when they moved to Nashville, Swift left behind a little something, as CMT.com notes:
Once the her family moved to Nashville and Swift started making her first record, back in Pennsylvania the new owners got busy renovating the 1927 home. And when they were gutting the kitchen, they found something else Swift had written when she lived there.
It was a note she wrote about a trip to Disney World.
“She must have written it in sixth or seventh grade. It said ‘I love Disney World,'” the homeowner told Philly.com.
Awww! That's the cutest story we've heard in a while and one that's fully in line with Swift's effervescent personality. We just hope the home's new owners hung onto that note, because with Swift's star rising so quickly, the note may be a valuable collector's item in just a few years!
