When Ryan Seacrest answered Today Show‘s Matt Lauer on which country singer made his boots shake, the two had very different answers. And then, Matt had to bow out and admit that his answer was a very good choice — highlighting her superstar personality and just how big it was.
So, just what was Mr. Seacrest's answer?
“You don't have to be diplomatic…In your opinion, who is the biggest star to come out of the show?”, Matt Lauer asks Seacrest. Without missing a beat, he shoots back, “Carrie Underwood”.When another one of the Today hosts brings up Kelly Clarkson, he stands by his choice.“Kelly too, but, you know, I was just on New Year's with Carrie and she's just a superstar. She really is. So I take Carrie.”
