The country music community is known for turning out in support of its members, and a recent memorial for Little Jimmy Dickens was no exception.
The longtime Grand Ole Opry performers died of cardiac arrest in January 2015 at age 94. The industry turned out to honor him at a memorial, during which Vince Gill and Carrie Underwood teamed up for a performance of “Go Rest High on that Mountain.”
The performance was a moving one, and was in keeping with the mood of the event, at which countless country music stars showed up to remember a beloved performer.
