These Stars Know What the Spirit of the Holiday Season Is all About!
Country music stars are known for their generosity and their dedication to charitable causes all across the world. In fact, it seems like country music and giving back to the community just go hand-in-hand! This is especially true around the holidays, when some of country music's best and brightest typically step up to perform at charity concerts or even giving back directly by playing Santa to people in need. This year, some of our favorite country stars have joined forces with other musicians to raise money for Musicians on Call, a nonprofit organization that visits hospital patients to uplift their spirits with the power of music.
As part of its Deck the Halls campaign, the organization is selling holiday sweaters personally designed by country stars such as Florida Georgia Line, Sara Evans and Sam Hunt. They join other artists and musicians which include pop band DNCE, rapper Trey Songz and singer Ellie Goulding. The organization is also selling a sweater designed by patients who have benefited from the program.
