I mostly agree but there are some great artist out there but their not mainstream. People like Jamie Johnson, Chris Stapleton, and Whitey Morgan.
Today’s music is ok, these young people are talented too. But can’t compare with “BIG SEXY” Toby Kieth or Merle Haggerd!!.. Willie, Allen, to name a few..♡

I think if you grew up listening to Hee- Haw, Conway,Johnny Cash, Buck Owens, Freddy Fender, Faron- Young, Ray Price,Glenn Campbell, Dolly Parton,Gene Watson, Willey Nelson, Boxcar Willy, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristopherson, & so many more that played Nashville or Austin, Texas. The country today have many come out of pop music when they dry-up there & mysteriously claim they’re country. I am from right outside of charleston,s.c. & we have a pop star that now claims to be country & he ain’t country. The statement Merle Haggard made is the real – deal truth & I am a Hag – Fan.
