  • Miranda Lambert Paid A Touching Yet Powerful Tribute To The Eagles

As CMT.com notes, Lambert did the iconic song justice, delivering a stirring rendition. We bet The Eagles were thrilled to have her sing in their place!

Dressed in a classy and chic black pantsuit, Lambert looked stunning as she performed “Desperado” in honor of the Eagles, who were slated to receive a Kennedy Center Honor during the ceremony. Due to member Glenn Frey’s intestinal surgery, however, the group opted to wait until next year to officially receive the award so they could all be together.

Wow! That was one amazing performance! Other honorees at this year's event were Rita Moreno, Cecily Tyson, George Lucas, Carole King, and Seiji Ozawa. That's one heck of a roster, and one that The Eagles definitely belong in!
