  • Sam Hunt Steers Clear Of Country Music & Preforms Something A Little Different

During a recent performance in Anaheim, California, Sam Hunt showed love for the 80s, belting out Cyndi Lauper and Whitney Houston in back-to-back set, which included “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”

He put his own “Sam Hunt” spin on both, with an acoustic accompaniment, and of course the screaming women in the background.

While it isn’t the first time Country has redone Pop and R&B Hits (or vice versa), this performance not only showed and proved that this country boy has twang, but he’s using it to drive the ladies out of their – uhmmmmm…. Seats!
