With all the junk that is on T.V. These days it's about damn time that we got one that was more suitable for everyone to watch instead of showing the unobtainable lifestyle of the rich and famous.
Fox is finally making over The Urban Cowboy and casting some of the hottest actors in town including the very, incredibly sexy John Travolta and Debra Winger.
The filming has already began and is being set in Austin, Texas which means that it's going to be true Country. Originally the pilot was done in Huston, Texas.
The series is supposed to be a remake of the Urban Cowboy… but there is a special twist that is in the works.
Finally Fox is getting things right and making Television more family friendly…. unlike the rest of the useless propaganda they put out.

Are you kidding me! Urban Cowboy, a family friendly movie? Apparently the person who wrote the article has never seen Urban Cowboy. There is nothing family friendly about this movie. Beside the drinking, cursing, and fighting, there’s abuse to women, using women as only sex objects, and cheating on your spouse. That’s why I love this movie so much! If it actually does come to be a TV show, I hope it’s not family friendly and more like the actually movie.

My favorite movie is Urban Cowboy…I own it and watch it at least twice a year .
There are some movies that shouldn’t be remade in any form. Examples – Footloose & Red Dawn! Urban Cowboy falls in that category.
