Keith Urban is one of the most loved country music artists around and he showed us why on New Year's Eve.  During his show which was ringing in the new year, he stopped his concert in Nashville to celebrate the lives of musical legends who died this past year.

He belted out one of Leonard Cohen’s iconic hits “Hallelujah,” then he transitioned into the Eagles “Take It Easy,” a tribute to Glen Frey. Kidman joined her husband on stage dancing along side of him singing and paying her respects to these musical greats although as usual Twitter showed that people did not respond as positively as I'm sure she would have hoped in regards to her dancing ability.

Merle Haggard's song  “Mama Tried.”  was the final that he sang just minutes before ringing in the New Year with Prince’s “Purple Rain” closing out the medley.
