Forbes magazine recently released a list of country music's highest-paid artists, with men making up most of the top 10.
Industry heavyweights such as Garth Brooks (who came in at number 1) continue to dominate the list, which is no surprise because their music has enduring appeal that attracts both younger and more mature audiences. However, some of the top earners have a distinctly pop flavor, which has benefited both their popularity and their pocketbooks!
While much of the list is to be expected, it is remarkable in that Taylor Swift, for all her popular appeal, only came in at 8. She tied with Miranda Lambert.
