In a vintage performance video from The Porter Wagoner Show, a 32-year-old Willie Nelson sings “Hello Walls,” his debut single. This was long before he became known as one of Nashville's premiere singers and songwriters, and way before he'd grown his trademark braids.
In fact, he looks surprisingly clean-cut in a smart suit and with short, coiffed hair. Who knew Willie was so dapper?
