The rumors are true… Country Music Superstar, Blake Shelton and Hip-Hop Hit Maker Pitbull almost did a collaboration!
Can you imagine what kind of song that would of been? Obviously both Blake and Pitbull are at the top of their respective games; they both come from different musical genres, but man oh man…. The Possibilities!
According the article, Blake opted not to move forward on this mega star mix up due to his wholesome country boy, Americas sweetheart heart image. Which, I guess we have to respect; if the man doesn't want to upset his fan base who am I to blame him?
At the end of the day thats the music business for you. But I have to admit, as a fan of both Blake Shelton and Pitbull my ears can't help but wonder what kind of stellar song the two of them could of created. I suppose we'll just have to settle for some good old fashioned Kid Rock for the time being!
