Back in April of 1998 we said “see ya later” to a country music legend, Tammy Wynatt.
Tammy had one of the most gorgeous and recognizable voices in the industry, honestly even in today's time I have never heard a voice that came close to her sound. Her music was from the day a raw talent, if you couldn't sing you were not going to make it. No fancy overlays, what she sounded like is what you got! A art that is so far forgotten today. Have you ever been to a concert and realized that the artist sounds NOTHING like on the radio? Well Tammy sounded like a angel no matter what!
One of my favorite things about her music was when she sung about all things country music… family, love, men and getting in to trouble! One of her closest girlfriends was the one and only Dolly Parton. These two gals were a force to be reckoned with and knew how to have fun! A friendship that every person should be blessed with!
