I was never a real big fan of Billy-Ray at all but when I heard this song it gave me a different opinion of him; it actually made me admire him.

There is a lot of money that people don't think of when producing an album or song. The cost can quickly cost hundreds of thousands and sometimes the artist does not get a very high return on investment.

However, in light of the devastating war on our Country and the strong Military that protects us Billy-Ray gave back – unlike most Country Music Stars.

“Some Gave All” is a tribute to the soldiers out there that have gave some or gave all for this great nation.

“Some Gave All” was released on Billy Ray's 1992 album of the same title. Though it wasn't released as a single, it's still one of those songs that should definitely be heard and understood. The song tells a story of a veteran that recalls the sacrifices that his fellow soldiers made.

In times like this, people need to be reminded of the sacrifices that our military and their families must make to keep our freedoms – something that definitely doesn't come free. Never forget.
