  • Closed Without Even A Notice To It’s Customers: Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Social Is GONE!

Southern Ground Social Club and adjacent La Mesa Del Sur restaurant in Downtown Senoia have closed abruptly, leaving audiences and guess in disbelief as this city's top spot has shut doors. The venue took to Facebook with a message for patrons, showing how grateful they have been for the demand the city has brought:
“After a successful four year run, the Southern Ground Social Club will be closing its doors in Senoia, GA. Special thanks to all of our customers, fans and team members who helped us make great food, music and most importantly, provided support for Camp Southern Ground. Southern Ground will continue to create jobs in Georgia, and will be announcing some exciting new ventures in 2016.”
This move doesn't seem to come from a place of financial concern, as the business donates proceeds from the sale to Fayette County's Club Southern Ground, an organization founded in 2012 to help children deal with neurobehavioral needs and as a solution to at-risk populations. The camp also serves as a home away from home for military families, where children are constantly moving from city to city, needing to make new friends over and over again.
We're excited to see what will happen next! Have you ever been to Southern Ground Social Club or La Mesa Del Sur? If so, comment below and share your experience!
