The song “Riser,” is the topic of conversation.  When you need a little extra push from yourself, these lyrics can act as a mantra to motivate and inspire you with your next ambitious or serious test in life.

Say these words to yourself before you have to run a meeting, give a speech, or go bungie jumping with your friends or family.  Dierks Bentley's chorus a little something like this:

I'm a Riser.  Imma get up off the ground.  No run and hider.  Pushin' comes to shove, Hey I'm a fighter, when darkness comes to town.  I'm a lighter.  A get-out-aliver.  Oh the fire.  Survivor.

In Samantha Stephens' opinion, who's a Country radio insider, she shares that:

[Riser is] a powerful anthem for fans, it may be my favorite song on the album. Bentley has always been so beloved by his audience because even though he possesses massive appeal and undeniable star quality, deep down, he’s just a regular guy.

Furthermore, Dierks Bentley was interviewed recently about “Riser.” He feels that,

It’s the cornerstone of this record, and the lyrics speak to the kind of guy I want to be.  It’s about the country fans that I see out in the crowd each night… the sacrifices they make, and the hardships that we all have to overcome.

Bentley and his team have been taking action and making the effort to allow “Riser” become his hit single of the album.  They're dreams have now been realized.  Last week, the song first came onto the radio as the artist's fifth single from the “Riser” soundtrack.

Good for you Dierks!  You continually satisfy your fan base and expand your sound to listeners worldwide.  I see his Country music legacy carrying on for years to come.
