The superstar, now 53, said he realized he was completely missing out on relationships with his three daughters (now 22, 20 and 18).

“I'd just stare at them,” he told the mag. “I knew their sweet faces and their dispositions. But I didn't know who they were.”

After he stepped out of the limelight, Garth happily fell into the role of soccer dad.

“You start being a part of the community,” he said. “The dads across the soccer field looked at me as a dad just like them. And I was very grateful.”

 

I think that Garth Brooks “Standing Outside The Fire”  is the definition of living life. Well, that is exactly what he did. Garth is living his life and a huge part of that was taking a time out from entertaining to raise his family. There will always be critics, but nobody knows how to live your life EXCEPT for you! So learn a lesson from Garth Brooks, family first and live you life no matter what the skeptics say!

Garth is coming back stronger then ever with his new record and the man sure knows how to entertain a crowd! If you ever get a chance to go watch him, do it! It will be a touching show that you will hold dear for years to come!
