In 2014, iconic singer/songwriter George Strait wrapped up a record-breaking career with his two-year Cowboy Rides Away tour.

George ‘Bubba’ Strait Jr. joined his dad for the first time ever to perform Arkansas Dave, a song Bubba penned for his dad’s album, Twang. Bubba is proof that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. He’s not only inherited his father’s soulful voice, but his impressive songwriting abilities.

Because George Strait is retiring from the business he invited his son who is just as talented to finally get the lifetime opportunity to preform with him.

How sweet is that?
