  • Hank Williams’ Granddaughter Stuns Everyone When She Performed The Original Song, The Highway

I would have to say I am pretty impressed with this song. Most of the time the kin of famous singers always have an extra leg up in the music industry even though they completely suck. However, Holly knocks it clearly outta the park.

As the granddaughter to Hank Williams Sr. and the daughter of Hank Williams Jr., this 34-year-old singer stuns with her original song, “The Highway” and it's amazing.

A lot of people may think that Holly her grandfather had influence her with this song but honestly, this modest young woman thought of it while driving and recorded it at last minute.

It came out of nowhere, Williams says of the song. I played it for my husband, and we knew I had to record it. It was at the last minute, but it made the whole album make sense. It solidified the whole thing to me. It also reflected me and what I do. I'm happier on the road. I never love being in a recording studio. It's fine, I use it for recording. But I'm not on country radio. I'm out there more in the singer-songwriter world, trying to build a base of fans one by one.

Life has not been easy for this self-made musician; without this song being a hit Williams would still be preforming in small coffee shops and not doing anything productive with her talented music…

Her last name has clearly affected her fame and put a damper on her music.
