For those that are unaware Jake Owen is quite the golfer proudly sporting a 2 handicap his love of the game is evident and now he will be honored with yet another award only this one will bare the name of one of golf's greatest legends, Arnold Palmer!

The Arnie Award honors those golfers who give back in amazing ways

“Receiving this award with Arnold Palmer’s name on it and what it represents means everything to me,” says Owen. “To receive an Arnie the same year as Peyton and Phil Mickelson, who I respect so much, is simply mind blowing. I’m extremely grateful. I will probably cry when they present it to me and so will my Dad, who taught me how to play golf when I was just a little kid.”

 

Owen’s current single, “If He Ain’t Gonna Love You,” is the follow-up to his 6th No. 1 single, “American Country Love Song,” from the No. 1 album AMERICAN LOVE.
