This album is edgily supposed to be more personal and emotional. The reason this is anticipated is because Broadway performers are more theatrical and have a more resonating voice because of all of the audiences and characters that they have to play.

A talent across many genres and art forms, Laura Bell Bundy has announced her new country album Another Piece of Me will be released June 9. Fans itching to get their hands on it can pre-order May 26.

Another Piece contains 15 tracks, more than half of which the artist co-wrote or co-produced. The record is also chalk-full of collaborations with veteran producers like Nathan Chapman, Jay DeMarcus,  Rascal Flatts and Tyler Cain.

Bundy says the album will be very personal, which is a new adventure for the singer, who has spent much of her career playing characters on Broadway or TV.

Bundy is giving fans a glimpse into the album via social media in the coming weeks, including photos, videos and audio snippets in support of the album’s release.
