  • Miranda Lambert Broke Down In Front Of 20,000 People Just Days Before Her Devastating Divorce Announcement

As soon as Miranda got off stage she broke down and was inconsolable. The benefit concert at The Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City never expected this to happen.

The last thing anyone wants to do is cry in front of 19,000 people,” she said in the heartbreaking video, shot during her performance at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Festival.

Lambert got choked up as she mouthed the words, “Mama cut out pictures of houses…,” and just pointed the microphone towards the audience to have them fill in for her momentarily as she tried to regain her composure. The verse about a family's dream house and how they tried to build it from scratch triggered the tears to flow for the Pistol Annies member. As she got around to finishing the song, the “Nashville Star” finalist said “sorry” to the crowd, ending her performance with a heartwarming “I love you Oklahoma.”

But because the show had to go on and the country music community is a tight one, Lambert found a way to perform a song that was hitting her in the heart.

Miranda is a performer at heart and even in tough times she knows how to compose herself.
